ROBERT K. WEISS (Producer)
Weiss began his career as the producer of "Kentucky Fried Movie" his first collaboration with director David Zucker.  He continued that association, producing the hit comedy  "Naked Gun,"  its two successful sequels, as well as "Scary Movie 3," which landed at the top of the box office, grossing over $48M in its opening weekend.   In addition, Weiss produced the international hit "The Blues Brothers." Other feature credits include "Amazon Women on the Moon" (which Weiss also co-directed), "Dr. Detroit" and "Dragnet." Formerly the president of Lorne Michael's  Broadway Pictures, Weiss also executive produced "Tommy Boy", "A Night at the Roxbury", "Superstar", and "The Ladies Man."
For television, Weiss's credits include the series "Police Squad!" which was the progenitor of the "Naked Gun" films. He also created and executive produced the FOX series "Sliders" and was an executive producer on the USA Network series "Weird Science."
When not producing for film and television, Weiss is busy enabling technological innovation. He is Vice Chair of
the X PRIZE Foundation, the organization responsible for  jump starting the personal space flight revolution by awarding a $10 Million prize to the first private team to fly a passenger spaceship.
