MATT EMBER

MATT EMBER (Screenwriter) is a longtime television writer/producer who has worked on such hit television fare as “The Drew Carey Show,” “Grace Under Fire,” “Titus,” and “Becker,” among others.
A graduate of Wesleyan University, Ember began his writing career when he met veteran television writer/producer Lloyd Garver.  He began working in sitcoms, rising from a staff writer to a co-executive producer on top network comedies.
Ember met his writing partner, Tom J. Astle, while working in sitcoms.  This first feature screenplay, “Buzzkill,” was quickly optioned by Fox Searchlight and was soon followed by the script for “Failure to Launch,” which was written on spec and optioned quickly by producer Scott Rudin.
