In 18th century Romania, Rayne (a girl with a human mother and vampire father) possesses superhuman strength but a soft side for humans. She decides to find her vampire father who is the powerful vampire Kagan.
On her journey, she is befriended by two vampire hunters and learns that there are three Talisman organs -- a heart, an eye and a rib from her ancestor vampire, Beliar -- which Kagan covets, that will make him so powerful that he will throw the earth into darkness and vampires will rule forever.
A women runs for her life from a purposeful, but mysterious man. As she flees, she attempts to hide a 5-year-old girl from him. She is cornered and quickly tears up some loose floorboards and stashes the child under the floor.
BloodRayne, half human, half vampire, all woman. This gorgeous 23-year-old lives and works as part of a circus freak show. Unsure of what she truly is, the Ringmaster and Strongman abuse her and cut her, just to watch her bleed.
