Second series begins. Briggs replaced by Jim Phelps (Peter Graves).
September 28, 1969
Fourth series begins. Barbara Bain and Martin Landau both leave. Leonard Nimoy joins.
March 30, 1973
The final episode of the show is broadcast. Mission: Impossible ran for seven seasons (171 episodes).
October 23. 1988
Peter Graves returns in a new series. Despite mixed reviews it runs for two seasons.
